Avengers: Infinity War | Anthony Russo Storyboard

The Avengers must stop Thanos, an intergalactic warlord, from getting his hands on all the infinity stones. However, Thanos is prepared to go to any lengths to carry out his insane plan. The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation.

Many Avengers died at the end of 2018's Infinity War as villain Thanos snapped his fingers and wiped out half the Universe. On the posters, survivors are shown in colour with the dead in black and white. Some fans were shocked to discover that Black Panther's Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, had died.

You knew the Avengers: Infinity War ending might be tragic. ... In the Infinity War ending, the Avengers try to stop him, eventually killing Vision in order to destroy the Mind Stone inside his head. But Thanos simply uses the Time Stone to reverse the process and gain all six stones.

Josh Brolin Brings a Surprising Level of Sadness and Empathy to Infinity War's Thanos. We all knew Thanos was going to be Avengers: Infinity War's big bad, but we weren't expecting his, um, interesting new makeover.
