Bharat song Slow Motion: Salman Khan sings with Disha Patani in New Song

The first song from Bharat titled Slow Motion is out and Disha Patani is seen wearing the yellow sari as she grooves alongside Salman Khan in the dance number. The song shows Salman’s character from the 1960s when he was a daredevil performer in a circus which also has Disha as a trapeze artist.

The song begins with Salman performing a deadly stunt in ‘Maut Ka Kua (the well of death)’ and Disha effortlessly doing multiple somersaults in a glittery costume. Sung by Nakash Aziz and Shreya Ghoshal, the song is as good as a typical Salman Khan dance number with catchy dance moves and peculiar lyrics such as “Leke badi wali ring ek din, tujhe maine kar lena hai win, fir shadi hogi babies honge, badlenge hum napkin.”

Earlier, Raveena Tandon had donned the famous yellow sari in the song Tip Tip Barsa Pani while dancing alongside Akshay Kumar in rain. The song was picturised for the 1994 film Mohra. Later, Katrina Kaif had brought back the yellow sari trend in the song Gale Lag Ja from the 2009 Akshay Kumar starrer, De Dana Dan.

Bharat is Ali Abbas Zafar’s ambitious project and marks his third collaboration with Salman after their successful films Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). The film revolves around the journey of Salman’s character running parallel to the growth of a nation from partition to 2010. Salman has several looks in the film and is seen as a miner, navy officer, an aged man besides playing a circus artist.

The film is the big Eid release of the year and is scheduled to hit theatres on June 5. Katrina Kaif plays the leading lady Kumud Raina and was introduced by Salman as his ‘Madam Sir’. The film also stars Jackie Shroff as his father and Sunil Grover in a pivotal role.

The trailer of the film was received well by the audience and had shown Salman colourful journey over several decades along with his search for his missing father.
