05 March 2024: Exide's shares are falling due to the company's report of a 20 percent year-on-year (YoY) decrease in its net profit for the March quarter of FY20. The profit after tax for Q4 FY20 was 20 percent lower at Rs 168 crore compared to Rs 210.68 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. This decline in profit has likely led to investor concerns and contributed to the downward trend in Exide's share price.
