  • Rishi Kapoor - Died on 30th April 2020 (Aged 67 Years)

One of the top Veteran Bollywood Actor, Rishi Kapoor died at age of 67 Years after his 2-year-long battle with cancer. He lost his life at  Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai at 8:45 am on 30th April 2020. He is son of actor, producer, director Raj Kapoor and belongs to Raj Kapoor Clan of Bollywood.


  • Irrfan Khan - Died on 29th April 2020 (Aged 52 Years)

Irrfan Khan was one of the best actors who was worldwide acclaimed. He made his popualrity in Bollywood ad well as Hollywood for his fine acting. He died due to colon infection (Neuroendocrine tumor) at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Mumbai on evening of 29th April 2020. He is best known for his performance in movies Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi.

  • Wajid Khan - Died on 01st June 2020 (Aged 42 Years)

Wajid Khan was a popular Hindi film music director who is son of tabla player Sharafat Ali Khan. On morning of 01st June 2020; Wajid Khan died due to coronavirus complications leading to some kidney issue. He was one of the celebrities who lost lives due to COVID 19 complications.


  • Basu Chaterjee - Died on 04th June 2020 (Aged 93 Years)

Popular cult director Basu Chaterjee died due to age-related illness at his house in Santacruz , Mumbai on 4 June 2020. he is best known for his direction in cult films like 'Rajnigandha' and 'Chitchor'. His daughter Antara Bhattacharya had comfirmed his death on 04th June 2020.


  • SP Balasubramanyam - Died on 25th September 2020 (Aged 74 Years)

 In another case of COVID complications; SP Balasubramanyam closed his eyes on 25th September 2020 in MGM Healthcare Hospital in Chennai. He suffered from COVID Complications when he was admitted to the Hospital. He is one of the most vibrant singers who has delivered over delivered melodious songs for more than 1,000 movies. He was best known in Bollywood as playback singer for Salman Khan in his early romantic movies.

  • Nimmi - Died on 25th March 2020 (Aged 87 Years)

Veteran Movie Actress Nimmi left the world on evening of 25th March 2020 at Juhu Hospital after suffering from prolonged illness. She was best known for 50s and 60s movies 'Aan', 'Barsaat' and 'Deedar'. She had married writer Ali Raza who also died in 2007.

  • Sushant Singh Rajput - Died on 14th June 2020 (Aged 34 Years)

Most Controversial and Politically Heated Suicide Case of the Year; Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai. As per reports; he died on 14th June 2020 due to suicide hanging. The case took many twist and turns with connections to drugs trafficking, casting couch and more. It was investigated by Mumbai Police, Bihar Police and finally CBI.

Finally it was found that that Sushant died of Suicide Hanging by Dr Sudhir Gupta led AIIMS panel for re-evaluating post-mortem report. Sushant Singh Rajput is well know for his highly accliamed Bollywood Movies Kai Po Chee, MS Dhoni - The Untold Story, Dil Bechara, Sonchiraiya.

  • Asif Basra - Died on 12th November 2020 (Aged 53 Years)

Another case of suicide came into light on 12th November 2020 morning when Bollywood Actor Asif Basra found hanging in a house in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala in Indian State of Himanchal Pradesh. Forensic Team confirmed that his death is due to suicide.

Asif Basra is well known for his acting as supporting actor in movies “Jab We Met”, “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai” and “Kai Po Che!” and web series "Patal Lok" and "Hostages".


  • Jagdeep - Died on 08th July 2020 (Aged 81 Years)

81 year old Veteran actor Jagdeep Jaffery died of age-related health issues on 8th July 2020 at his residence. He was cremated in Shia Kabristan in south Mumbai. The actor is best know for character of Soorma Bhopali in movie "Sholay" and other comic roles in movies such as "Purana Mandir" and "Andaz Apna Apna".

He is father of renowned actor Javed Jaffery and TV producer Naved Jefferey.

  • Ashalata Wabgaonkar - Died on 22nd September 2020 (Aged 79 Years)

 Indian actress Ashalata Wabgaonkar who was well known Marathi Actress and a TV Serial Actor died of COVID 19 on September 22, 2020 at 4.45 in morning at a hospital in Satara in Maharashtra. She was infected by COVID 19 at sets of a TV Serial Shooting.

  • Nishikant Kamat - Died on 31st July 2020 (Aged 50 Years)

Renowned Filmmaker Nishikant Kamat was suffering from cirrhosis and lost his life at AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad at age of 50 on 31st July 2020. He has a severe chronic liver disease which caused multiple organ failure leading to death.

He is known for producing and directing successful movies such as "Madaari" and "Drishyam".

  • Bhupesh Kumar Pandya - Died on 23rd September 2020 (Aged 48 Years)

 A popular actor in various movies such as Vicky Donor, Parmaanu and Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi; Bhupesh Kumar Pandya died of lung cancer on morning of 23rd September 2020. Various Politicians and Actors including Manoj Bajpayee, Gajraj Rao and Mukesh Chhabra have paid tribute to him.

  • Sameer Sharma - Died on 04th August 2020 (Aged 44 Years)

Indian TV Actor Sameer Sharma was found hanging to ceiling fan of kitchen of his home in suburban Malad in Mumbai and forensics confirmed it to be a suicide. Sameer was said to be parted from his wife and lived alone. He is best known for his character in TV Serial "Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke".


  • Saroj Khan - Died on 03rd July 2020 (Aged 71 Years)

One to the best choreographers in Bollywood; Saroj Khan died at Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai due to a sudden cardiac arrest on 3rd of July, 2020. She suffered from breathing difficulty from long time. She has choreographed popular Bollywood songs that include Dola Re Dola, Ek Do Teen, Dhak Dhak.


  • Sejal Sharma - Died on 25th January 2020 (Aged 28 Years)

Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji fame actress Sejal Sharma died of suicide and found hanging in her rented flat at Royal Nest Society, Mira Road in Mumbai. She left a suicide note behind which shows her depression due to struggle of the industry. It is claimed that she had auditioned for a role two days before her death.

She came to Bollywood Industry to make her career against her family wishes.

  • Mohit Baghel - Died on 23rd May 2020 (Aged 26 Years)

Widely known for his character of Amar Chaudhary in Salman Khan starrer "Ready"; Mohit Baghel died of cancer at just age of 26 years at his home in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. He was last seen in movie 'Jabariya Jodi'.

Actor Mohit Baghel died of cancer at the age of 26 in his hometown Mathura. He worked in movies like Ready, and Jabariya Jodi. His character Chote Amar Chaudhary in the film Ready with Salman Khan was famous. Mohit was battling with cancer for some time. He was staying with his family at Mathura.

  • Anil Devgan - Died on 05th October 2020 (Aged 45 Years)

Filmmaker and Cousin Brother of Indian Actor Ajay Devgan; Anil Devgan died of a brief continuous illness (cancer) on night of 5th October 2020 at his home in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was director of Bollywood Movies Raju Chacha, Black Mail, Haal-ae-Dil.


  • Chiranjeevi Sarja - Died on 07th June 2020 (Aged 40 Years)

 Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja suffered from myocardial infarction, convulsions and breathlessness. He developed severe chest pain and eventually died at a private hospital in Bengaluru at afternoon of 7th June 2020.  His last rites happened at family's farmhouse near Bengaluru. He was one of the promising actors of Industry.
