As the reports coming from Uttrakhand; Heavy rain in Uttarakhand’s Dharchula has washed away five houses of the locals on July 19, 2020. The houses were situated in the hill town of Munsiyari in Pithoragarh District of Uttrakhand. The water level of Gori river rose above the safe mark after which local inhabitants shifted towards safe areas as recommended by the local administration.
Pithoragarh DM has confirmed that affected local families will be provided compensation by State Government. NDRF Teams are hard working into rescue operations and sending all to the safe areas as soon as possible.
