US offers $5 million bounty for 26/11 Mumbai attacks culprits information

Yesterday was 10th anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai Attacks which led to death of many Indian security personnel, 26 foreign nationals and left around 300 injured. During this terrorist attack in 2008; many prominent locations in Mumbai were attacked by heavily armoured 10 terrorists who breached Indian security and entered the territory of India through Arabian Ocean.

Later investigations found Lashkar-e-Taiba responsible for the terrorist attacks. All 9 out of 10 terrorists were killed by security personnel; only one was captured alive that was Ajmal Kasab. He was prosecuted to hang till death. Pakistani-American terrorist David Coleman Headley, who was sent by the LeT to spy India to prepare for the attacks is serving a 35-year prison sentence in the US.

US investigations found Hafeez Saeed, Hafiz Abdul Rahman Makki, Sajid Mir, Major Iqbal, Abu Qahafa and Mazhar Iqbal along with many others responsible for the attacks.

Hafeez Saeed has been declared as Global terrorist by UN Security Council.

In 2012, the RJF Department put a bounty of $10 million on LeT founder Hafiz Mohammad Saeed and $2 million on his deputy, Hafiz Abdul Rahman Makki.

And now again in 2018; a $5 million bounty has been declared for information on culprits of 26/11 Mumbai Attacks.
