Are fat and sugar making you fat?Fast Burn ExtremeWell let’s use common sense for a while. What is it so bad in chocolate that could make you fat? Fat and sugar? Okay, first of all fat is a macro-nutrient that is in almost every food you eat; and sugar? Well what about fruits? Fruits are basically water and sugar. I’ve never heard someone saying that if you eat fruit, it will make you fat and unhealthy. You did? I doubt that. Second, why should be sugar, fat or whatever else you find in food unhealthy? Or why should it make you fat? There is just no logical reason or scientific proof to prove that.
Now let’s look at it from the “fat gain” point of view. You can gain fat only when you eat more than your body needs. What that means? Let’s say your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is 1800kcal and your daily activities adds extra 500kcal (you may run as a part of your the morning routine and do some resistance training in the afternoon) – these are only estimates. So if you eat more calories than 2300 you gain fat and it really doesn’t matter if you eat only fruit or burgers and chocolate.
I’ve noticed that people associate high caloric food with the fat and unhealthy lifestyle. So they kind of get the idea how we get fat. The problem is that they think that it’s due to the fat and sugar rich food instead of high caloric food. What is the difference? Well, in the first example above, people assume that fat and sugar is bad for you, thus they avoid things that are high in fat or sugar completely.
If you understand that it doesn’t matter what you eat, because it’s only about the volume, you will be able to eat whatever you want and still be fit and healthy. If you think about it, you will find out that this is an awesome approach. Because you can have cake with your grandma, chocolate desert with your girlfriend and you can have a beer with your friends as well while still being able to lose fat. The only thing you have to do is to limit the volume of the food you eat.
