Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has called the “ruling party” of India — the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) — “anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan” in an interview to Washington Post. He also added “Let’s hope that after the election is over, we can again resume talks with India“.
He said he approached Modi government for peace talks and he also wants to resolve 2008 Mumbai Attacks case as it is a matter of terrorism but there was a dismissal from Indian counterpart.
India rejected the proposal within 24 hours blaming Islamabad for killing of a security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir and accusing it of glorifying terrorism. In counterattack; Imran Khan said it was an act of arrogance.
