What's New on Netflix in September 2021

What's new on Netflix this month? Well, as usual, the answer is, a whole heck of a lot! From final seasons for beloved shows like Lucifer and Money Heist to the debut of highly-anticipated new Netflix originals like Midnight Mass, and of course, a healthy handful of old favorites in the library, September is shaking up to be a pretty major month for the streamer.

In the realm of returning series, September brings premieres for several Netflix Original hits, including The Circle Season 3, Into the Night Season 2, Sex Education Season 3, Nailed It! Season 6, and Dear White People Volume 4. Meanwhile, new debuts include the aforementioned Midnight Mass, from The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan, as well as the animated series Q-Force, and Julie Delpy's On the Verge.

As for this month's new movies, you'll see plenty of familiar favorites, including Do the Right Thing, Clear and Present Danger, Labyrinth, School of Rock, and Mystery Men - all of which arrive on September 1 - as well as new Netflix Original Films, including the Mary Elizabeth Winstead actioner Kate and the post-9/11 drama Worth, starring Michael Keaton and Stanley Tucci.
