Wipro has targeted a revenue of $150 million from intellectual property (IP) segment this Fiscal Year. Company made a revenue of $80 million last year from IP section.
IPs that are sold independently help the company fetch better revenue, but clients do not get priority in the ones that are bundled with services.
In 2017-18, the Wipro created a revenue of $8.06 billion from it's IT services segment. Company filed 50 new patents totalling to 2,071 patents as part of a drive for non-linearity and IP.
