Founder Promoters of the NIIT have decided to exit the company. The stakes of founders in company is on sale. According to reports, major private equity firm such as Bain Capital, Black Stone, Apax and IT firm, Tech Mahindra have been approached by the firm for sale.
The buyer will get 31% in the edu-tech firm and also a further chance to get more 26%.
NIIT is a leading edu-tech firm which global operations and a complete capitalization of 6,275 crores.
