Less than 60% campus placement in engineering and management college

As per new report; less than 60% students got campus placements in engineering and management colleges. HRD minister SatyaPal Singh quotes in Look Sabha that less than 6 out of 10 engineering and management graduates got campus placements.

To improve the reliability and credibility of the technical education, AICTE has launched outcome based curriculum in technical education. As per the recent survey; the employability rate at management colleges has dropped to 36% and at engineering institutes it was 57% which is a six percent increase from previous data.
