Indians believe they are working in meaningless jobs

Around 12% feel their work is socially useless – a number exceeded only in Japan, Poland and Israel, and higher than the global average of 8%. Private sector fares worse with 11% employees feeling their job doesn't drive any meaningful impact; those in finance, sales, marketing and public relations are more likely to express the sentiment.
