Facebook Considering to Sell User Data to Companies

Reports say that the social media company; Facebook had considered to monetize the idea of selling access to user data to companies several years ago. Citing several internal emails from 2012 to 2014 and an unredacted court document, the media reports that Facebook employees encouraged advertisers to spend more bucks in return for more deatiled user information.

But right now; Facebook which is largest social media company with over 1.5 billion users has a policy of not selling such data.
